Hello, Runners!
An eventful race. The first two past the post both felt that they'd benefited from generous handicaps based on last month's times so the winner of the WJH Trophy was Stephen Adu. Sadly, by the time we'd agreed on a course of action, he'd gone back to work. Well done, Stephen!
After the race, Peter Torre gave us some surprising news. On the 22nd, he's appearing in a cameo role on ITV at about 17:00. That's not the surprising part. He has a non-speaking role! Now that is surprising! It's amazing what some people won't do for money!
There was also a nice gesture from Peter when he got the new runners together and 'officially' welcomed them to the race 'family'.
The next race is on the 8th of January.
