Hello Fellow Runners,
Here is the last set of results for 2016.
A cracking performance from Darren Hyatt saw him lift the Hanscomb Trophy so well done Darren. As always Mr Handicap will make the defence of the trophy very interesting.
A huge thanks to Sir Tom for helping out with the timings and an hour or so of wit and banter, you are Sir Tom a Bridges Legend.
For those new to the race I hope you enjoyed it and will choose to race again at some time in the future.
From me a big thank you for the magnificent support over the last year and indeed the last eight years. It's you the people that make the race and I have to say organising the event is always a privilege and a pleasure for me. So from me it’s a very Happy Christmas and all the very best for 2017.
And finally....
The next race will take place on Wednesday 11 January, I will need help on the day so if you are willing to give up your time please let me know.
As you know my last race will be in May of next year. Our department is moving from Central London to Canary Wharf so it's time to hand over the stop watch to someone new. I do hope there is an individual or maybe a group of you willing to take the race forward. So if you are interested please let me know and we can work on the handover.
