Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the December Bridges race.
Another splendid turnout in the rather splendid winter sun so well done to all 40 racers for making it to the start.
Welcome to our new runners and I hope you enjoyed your first race enough to consider returning at some point in the future.
Congratulations to the 'Irregular' Simon Lewis on winning the trophy for December. A welcome return to form and I was delighted to see his sprinting legs making a comback.
Once again thanks to David Kelly for his cool handling of the stop watch and for giving up his time to help us out.
The area of HMRC where I work is moving from Parliament Street in the near-ish future so my time as race co-ordinator will have to come to an end. We have no dates as yet and have been advised that will will be given plenty of warning when the time comes. It may be as long as four years but to be honest its just a case of waiting to be told. In the meantime I will continue to look after the race and keep this terrific event going.
So that's it for another year, a year when the numbers turning up have rocketed and the interest in the race has never been so keen. Thanks to you all for your loyalty and support.
