April 2014 Results
Hello Fellow Runners,
The race was won by Sandra Farinha. I think all those that compete in the race on a regular basis will be thoroughly delighted for Sandra on winning the trophy for the first time. It also meant a photo opportunity with Sir Tom Jennings so not a bad prize. Here is the happy scene
Thanks to Dennis Williams for his help with the admin side of things a splendid effort sir.
The next race takes place on 14th May I will need help on the day so if you are willing to give your up time please let me know.
May and June Results
Our webmaster, Jeremy Barber, is walking the Camino de Santiago del Compostella, a 500 mile stroll across Northern Spain. He won't be back until some time after mid June so web publication of the May and June results will be delayed. I will send the email as usual.
July Race
I will be away for this event so I am looking for two experienced volunteers to help out. New runners will not be allowed to enter this race to minimise the work load.
Could I ask that if you do intend to run in the event please remember your race numbers and make sure you register your name with the organisers. I mention the registration element as I often tick people off as they trot over the bridge with a nod as acknowledgment simply because I know most of you by name these days. And please do arrive at least five minutes before the off.
