February 2014 Results
Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the February Bridges race.
A rather windy day mixed with more rain did not dampen spirits so well done to all.
A Bridges welcome to our new racers, hopefully you enjoyed the event and will look to race again in the future.
Thanks to John Carter for giving up his time to help with the admin side. As you know without volunteers the race would soon flounder.
Congratulations to Lee Mansfield on winning the Hanscomb Trophy, next months handicap should keep you keen Mr. Mansfield.
The next race is on Wednesday 12 March so hope to see some of you then. I will need some help on the day so if you are willing to give up an hour of your time it would be much appreciated.
And finally I would like to dedicate the March event to Stan Allen who died recently. Stan was one of the race founders so it’s down to his efforts that we have the event we all enjoy today. I never met Stan but I would like to thank him for all his hard work in getting the event off the ground back in 1977.
