Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the January Bridges race.
A splendid performance by Stuart Hathaway saw him lift the Hanscomb Trophy. After some time off with injuries it was good to see Stuart back to his best.
And we had a sub-13 time recorded so well done to Darryl Carter on a blooming fast run. I am at times pleased to watch.
The next race takes place on Wednesday 12 February so hope to see you then. I will need a hand on the day so if you fancy helping out please let me know.
I finish with the sad news that one of the race founders Stan Allen passed away on New Years Day. I never met Stan but as someone who has enjoyed this event for many years I have always been grateful to Stan and the people who organised the first race and kept the event alive for so many years.
