Hello Fellow Runners,
Please find attached the results for the Bridges Race run on Wednesday 9 October.
Congratulations to Neil Bull on winning the Hanscomb Trophy for October, I think this was Neil’s first victory so I’m sure the trophy will be well cared for.
My thanks to Stuart for giving up his time to help with the admin side of things, a very professional job as usual.
And I would like to wish Mr. Theunis Botha all the best for the future as this was his last race before moving overseas. Rarely has a Bridges Racer complained so often about his handicap then proceed to run inside it. I shall miss the banter very much Mr. Botha.
I will not be at the November race as I’m off to Scotland for the week.
Alan Davidson has volunteered to help organise the race but he will need some help. So, if one of you experienced Bridges runners would be willing to help I would be most grateful. I will not invite any new runners to the race so it should be a straight forward affair.
Right that’s it for now other than to say thanks for making the race such a pleasure to be involved with.
