Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the August Bridges Race.
Hopefully the results are accurate and I have your finishing position correct. I mention this as there was a group of eight or nine runners finishing very close together. Coupled with a serious number of tourists it was tricky for Dennis handing out the finishing tags.
Aside from these minor issues it was a tremendous turnout so thanks to you all.
Congratulations to Peter Torry on a fine performance and securing the Hanscomb Trophy for the next month.
And thanks to Dennis for all his help with the admin, it was hard going because of the tourist numbers so a splendid effort Mr. Williams.
I will need to introduce a new rule for the September race and all subsequent races.
If you are not registered before the first runners have set off I will not be able to let you race. To get people off in good time and register those arriving late is not possible. Alternatively if you know you are going to race and want to register via email that will be fine. I can accept email entries up to 11.45am on the morning of the race.
