Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the April Bridges Race.
We enjoyed the relative warmth and sunshine which made for excellent racing conditions. Nina Williams secured the Handscomb trophy with a scintillating performance. Mr. Handscomb missed his chance to present the trophy and of course plant the celebratory peck on the cheek. It was a tough job stepping in for him.
Thanks to Martin for giving up his time and helping with the admin. And thanks to Leala for volunteering to help in May.
I won’t be around for the July race so hopefully a couple of experienced hands will be willing to step in. I’ll not allow new runners in July so the work on the day is reduced and a little more routine.
And finally thanks to you all for making the race such good fun and I hope to see you May.
