Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the July Bridges Race.
Thankfully the rain held off which only left a stiff breeze to contend with.
Thanks to Philip for giving up his time to help with admin stuff.
A fine run by Young Richard Whiting saw him claim the trophy. Why Mr. Handscomb (trophy provided and presenter) refused his usual kiss for the winner remains a mystery.
I will be in touch regards the August race. We have been warned the area is likely to be extremely busy during the Olympic period so I’ll wander over two or three times to see just how bad. If racing looks in any way hazardous, I’ll more than likely postpone and resume in September.
