Hello Fellow Runners,
Here are the results for the June Bridges Race.
The race was run in glorious sunshine so perhaps summer has decided to pay us a visit. A splendid effort by Mark Kelly saw him secure the ‘Hanscomb Trophy’ for the next month.
Thanks to Julia for giving up her time to help with the admin.
As always I will need help at the next event (July 11) so if you fancy lending a hand please let me know.
Future events
As things stand the August race will go ahead. We have been warned that huge crowds are expected around the Westminster area during the Olympic period so it may mean the course is not suitable for racing. I’ll wander along the start of the course at race time a couple of times before race day and see how it looks.
And I will not be around for the November race so two volunteers will be needed for this event please.
